Hiking Club

Kids in grades 2-5, join us on Wednesday afternoons to explore local trails and learn more about the Leave No Trace outdoor principles!

Each week we will visit a different trail in the Lakes Region area. Participants will go for weekly hikes, play fun outdoor games, and learn more about nature and our role in being responsible stewards of the environment. 

Participants should bring a water bottle, dress in appropriate clothing for the day's weather (layers are best) and wear sturdy hiking shoes or sneakers.

Grades: 2-5
Dates: Wednesdays, September 14 - October 26 (excluding 9/28)
Time: 1:00 -3:00pm
Fee: $30
Transportation: Participants will be transported from Manchester/Primary school in the Parks & Recreation vehicles for this program. At the end of the program pick up will be at Windham Town Hall Park at 3:00pm. Transportation is available for student who need to go back to their school for SACC after the program.

Registration closes Monday, September 19 at 4:00pm.
