Tennis in the Parks for Youth grades 1-8 - The tennis program where kids play where they learn!

This program is for brand-new or beginner tennis players. Led by a SafeSport-approved coach, we focus on FUN and learning the basics. We use age-appropriate equipment that makes learning easy.
 
All players in their first session receive and keep a new age-appropriate racquet and ball!  

Dates: YOUTH:Saturday's, May 18 - June 15th (Rain date 6/29)
          
Times: Grades 1-2 (Red Ball): 9:00 - 10:15am
            Grades 3-5 (Orange Ball): 10:15 - 11:30am
            Grades 6-8 (Green Ball): 11:30am - 12:45pm
            
Make up date for May 18th cancellation will occur on 6/29
Location: Windham High School Tennis Courts (behind the school) - 406 Gray Road, Windham, ME
Fee: $70 per person (includes a racket)
Registration: March 1 - May 12 


Tennis in the Parks for Adults ages 18+ - Learn and Play Tennis!

This program is for brand-new, beginner, or returning novice players. Led by a USTA-approved coach, we focus on FUN and learning the basics. Get great exercise while developing the skills to serve, rally, and play tennis.
 
All players in their first session receive and keep a new tennis racquet!

Dates: Saturdays May 4 - June 18 (Rain Date 6/15)

Times: 
 3:30pm - 5:00pm
Location: Windham High School Tennis Courts (behind the school) - 406 Gray Road, Windham, ME
Fee: $80 per person (includes a racket)
Registration: March 1st - May1st

If space allows, a late fee will be applied if registering after the registration deadline.

  • Informational email will be send out to parents/participants before the program begins. Your email must be on your account and opted in to email notifications to receive the information email.
  • Please be aware of any exclusion date(s) the program may have.
  • If you or your child will be absent from a class, please notify the Parks & Recreation office by phone or email.
  • If you or your child can no longer attend the program and you need to cancel, please contact the Parks & Recreation office so we can accommodate anyone who might be on the waiting list.
  • Program refunds on a case-by-case basis.
  • No refunds if 4 out of 5 classes have been provided.
