Basketball
Join us at Windham Town Hall from 2:00 - 4:00PM for After School Open Gym! Adult supervision will be provided to allow a space for participants to stay safe and having fun! Participants will have different activities to do throughout the school year to keep them busy and active! Some activities may include playing basketball, kickball, card/board games, crafts, video games, gym games and much more!

Grade: 6-8
Dates: Thursday's, November 7 - May 8
(Exclusion Dates: 11/28, 12/26, 2/20 & 4/24)

IMPORTANT NOTES
  • Participants may drop in or pre-register for this program.
  • Drop in participants that do not have an account at WindhamRecreaiton.com, a parent/guardian will be called and will be asked to make an account for payments and emergency contact information.
  • Drop in participants with an account at WindhamRecreaiton.com, the drop in fee will be added to their account (if they did not bring the drop in fee) and the parent/guardian will receive an email to pay the balance due.
  • Participants will walk over to the Town Hall Gym after school is dismissed at 2:00pm and sign in with a Parks & Recreation staff member.
  • Participants are to remain in the Gym during the duration of the program.
  • Participants will be dismissed from the gym at 4:00pm. Any specific dismissal instructions must be specified during the registration process or communicated to a Parks & Recreation staff member.
  • Participants are required to abide by all of the Teen Program Policies which includes dismissal, emergency and behavior policies. Please click the Teen Program Policies link below to see more information.
  • Please be advised that the Town retains the right to remove a participant from a program at any time during the course of the program if the Town feels that the child’s actions are a threat to the well-being and safety of the other children and/or staff.
  • Participants that may need to take medication during the program (including an EPIPEN or inhaler) are required to provide a Parents Request to Administer Medication form. See form in links below.
  • If a session must be canceled due to inclement weather or other circumstances, you will be notified via email and/or mobile notification before the end of the school day.
  • If the participant will NOT be attending a session, please notify the Parks & Recreation office by calling 892-1905 or emailing parks&recreation@windhammaine.us.
  • If the participant can no longer attend the program and you need to cancel, please contact the Parks & Recreation office so we can accommodate anyone on the waiting list.
