Chess Wizards Chess Wizards has been teaching the game of chess since 2002. Join us this summer for tons of challenging chess lessons, exciting games, and cool prizes. You'll improve your chess skills, meet new friends, and work out your most powerful muscle - your brain!
Our camps include fun team chess games (like Corner Chess), recess time (of course), snacks, tournaments, and puzzles.
Each camper receives a T-shirt, trophy, and puzzle folder. We include all the materials necessary for your child to participate, but full-day kids should bring lunch. Unleash your brain power and spend part of your vacation with Chess Wizards!

Grades: K-6
Dates: July 14 - July 18
Times: AM Half Day- 9:00am-12:00pm
PM Half Day- 12:00pm-3:00pm
Full Day- 9:00am-3:00pm
Location: Room 219 at Windham Middle School
Fee: Half Day- $245 (15 hours per week)
Full Day- $345 (30 hours per week)
Registration: April 14 - July 7

Registration closes Monday, July 7. If space allows, a late fee will be applied if registering after the registration deadline.

Additional Information
  • Registration will open Monday, April 14.
  • A detailed informational email will be sent to parents before Chess Wizards begins. Your email must be on your account and opted into email notifications to receive the email.
  • If the program must be canceled or rescheduled due to inclement weather or other circumstances, you will be notified via email before the class begins.
  • If your child is absent from a session, please notify the office directly by calling (207)892-1905.
  • If your child can no longer attend the program and you need to cancel, please contact the Parks & Recreation office so we can accommodate anyone who might be on the waiting list.
