Discover the Excitement of Archery!

Is your child ready to learn archery, build confidence, and make new friends? The Maine School of Archery (MSA) is offering a fun and engaging series of classes designed for young archers ages 11-13. Taught by expert instructors, these classes provide a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment, perfect for both beginners and experienced young archers looking to refine their skills.

Participants will learn range safety, proper shooting techniques, and foundational archery skills while also developing focus, discipline, and confidence. Whether your child is picking up a bow for the first time or aiming to improve their technique, this program is a great way to build skills while having fun.


Spots are limited! Give your child the chance to experience the thrill of archery in a welcoming and engaging setting.

Instructors and all equipment will be provided by MSA.

Dates: Wednesday's, July 2-23, with rain dates on July 30 & August 6
Time: Session 1- 1:00pm - 2:30pm, Session 2- 3:00pm-4:30pm
Fee: $220

Registration closes on Friday, June 20. If space allows, a late fee will be applied if registering after the registration deadline. 

Additional Information
  • Registration will open for Windham residents beginning Monday, April 14.
  • Registration will open for non-residents beginning Monday, April 28.
  • Windham summer camp participants will be transported on a Windham Parks & Recreation vehicle.
  • Non-campers must provide their own transportation for enrichment programs and must sign in and out with a Parks & Recreation staff member at every session.
  • A detailed informational email will be sent to parents before the enrichment program begins. Your email must be on your account and opted into email notifications to receive the email.
  • An informational text will also be sent out to parents before the enrichment program begins. Please make sure you have an active number on your account and that it is opted into mobile notifications to receive the texts.
  • If a session must be canceled due to inclement weather or other circumstances, you will be notified via email before the class begins.
  • If your child is absent from a session, please notify the camp directly by calling (207)892-1905.
  • If your child can no longer attend the program and you need to cancel, please contact the Parks & Recreation office so we can accommodate anyone who might be on the waiting list.
