Discovery Science
Winter Session
We are excited to bring back Discovery Science, presented by SparkYou! This program offers different, fun, and interactive experiments each class, with the first class consisting of the students picking what they want to learn each week! Most lessons will be chemistry and physics based. Price includes all 10 classes, all materials, supplies and safety gear that are required for each experiment!

Grades: 4-5
Dates: Wednesday's, January 8-March 12 
(Exclusion date - February 19th)
Time: 1:15 - 2:15pm
Location: Manchester School Band Room
Fee: $260 (10 classes, supplies, materials and safety gear)
Registration closes Sunday, January 5th

Spring Session

Dates: Wednesday's, March 26-May 28 
(Exclusion date - April 23rd)
Time: 1:15 - 2:15pm
Location: Manchester School Band Room
Fee: $235 (9 classes, supplies, materials and safety gear)
Registration closes Sunday, March 23rd

If space allows, a late fee will be applied if registering after the registration deadline.

Additional Program Information
  • Informational email will be sent to parents before each program session begins. Your email must be on your account and opted in to email notifications to receive the information email.
  • Please be aware of any exclusion date(s) the program may have.
  • Send a note or email to your child's teacher giving them permission to participate in the program.
  • Children will be dismissed directly from their classroom to the Band Room at the end of the school day.
  • The program ends at 2:15pm each week. Plan to come to the Band Room to pick up your child and sign them out with the instructor.
  • Manchester and SACC staff will receive the roster for each session so they are aware of the change in dismissal for each child.
  • If your child is absent from a class, please notify the Parks & Recreation office by phone or email.
  • If your child can no longer attend the program and you need to cancel, please contact the Parks & Recreation office so we can accommodate anyone who might be on the waiting list.
