Snowshoe Loan Program
Are you looking for a great way to explore local trails? Why not try snowshoes! We have snowshoes in adult and youth sizes that are FREE to borrow for the day or for a weekend. Snowshoes may be checked out from the Parks and Recreation office Monday-Friday from 8:00 am-4:00 pm. Due to the popularity of this program, especially once the snow starts flying, we ask that large groups please call ahead to make sure we have the quantity you need. What a perfect way to get the family outside to enjoy a nice winter day!

Outdoor Skating Rinks
We have a designated skating area that is cleared at Lippman Park on Chaffin Pond, Click here for more information about Lippman Park.

When the weather cooperates we also host "S'mores & Skate Nights", so please watch our website and social media for more information about these special events.

Please note: Ice skating at any of our facilities is always at your own risk.

Winter Trails & Preserves
Once the snow begins to accumulate, we will groom trails at our bigger parks and preserves. Whether you like cross-country skiing, taking the family on a snowshoe hike, or just getting outside to enjoy nature, you'll find plenty of places to play.
