Natural Wonders
Investigate the natural wonders of our world as we visit extreme scenes from the desert to the sea. Have fun as we learn about deserts and see how animals and plants adapt to these harsh climates. Explore the amazing survival of animals in the rain forest, in Antarctica, deep in the ocean and more!

To the Moon and Beyond
Is there anybody out there? We will explore together what is beyond our atmosphere. From the Moon to Mars, what keeps it all moving and what else is there? Learn about comets and meteors and how they impact the surface of the moon and Mars. Get ready to pack for your next space trip, get a taste of space food and so much more!

Gold Rush
In this series we will dig deep into the layers of the Earth and uncover many hidden treasures. We will visit the "rock factory," dig for minerals and perform some cool tests. Anything else that we may spot there? We will learn about fossils and how they are formed as we become paleontologists, discover what our soil is made of, dig into the layers of the Earth and much more!

Additional Program Information
- Informational email will be sent to parents before each program session begins. Your email must be on your account and opted into email notifications to receive the information email.
- Please be aware of any exclusion date(s) the program may have.
- Please send a note or email to your child’s teacher giving them permission to participate in the program.
- Children will be dismissed directly from their classrooms to the Art Room at the end of the school day.
- The program ends at 2:15pm each week. Plan to come to the art room to pick up your child and sign them out with the instructor.
- Primary School and SACC staff will receive the roster for each session so they are aware of the change in dismissal for each child.
- If a class must be canceled due to inclement weather or other circumstances, you will be notified via email before the class begins.
- If your child is absent from a class, please notify the Parks & Recreation office by phone or email.
- If your child can no longer attend the program and you need to cancel, please contact the Parks & Recreation office so we can accommodate anyone who might be on the waiting list.
