Pleasant Mountain Multi-Week Ski Program • Register • View Cart •

Back by popular demand, join Windham Parks & Recreation for a five-week ski program at Pleasant Mountain, formally known as Shawnee Peak, on Fridays after school! Students will be dismissed from school, transported to Pleasant Mountain for an evening of skiing and transported back to the Windham school campus at the end of the program.

Grades: 6-8
Dates: January 10th-February 7th 
Time: 2:00 - 9:00pm
Fee: $85. This year, you will only pay for transportation through Windham Parks & Rec. Once you've registered through us, you will receive a link to Pleasant Mountain's website to register and pay for lift tickets, lessons, and rentals.  
Transportation: Pick up and drop off at Windham Middle School.
Meals: Bring your own food and snacks or money to purchase food at the mountain.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Season pass holders must still purchase lift tickets to be included in this event due to the 20 participant minimum, that does not include those who have season passes. 
Minimum number of participants is required to run this program. Register by Tuesday, December 31st!

Additional Information
  • An informational email will be sent to parents/participants before each program session begins. Your email must be on your account and opted into email notifications to receive the information email.
  • Participants will have a designated location to put their skiing equipment when they arrive at school. This information will be included in the information email sent before the program begins.
  • Ski rental package includes skis, poles, boots and a helmet.
  • Helmet required for lessons (under the age of 12); available to be rented on its own if needed.
  • Lessons are 60 minutes long with PSIA instructors for all 5 weeks.
  • All prices are based on a five-week group program. Singles day prices are not available for this program.
  • If a session must be canceled due to inclement weather or other circumstances, you will be notified via email and mobile notification before the end of the school day.
  • If the participant will NOT be attending a session, please notify the Parks & Recreation office by phone or email.
  • If the participant can no longer attend the program and you need to cancel, please contact the Parks & Recreation office so we can accommodate anyone on the waiting list.
  • A minimum of 20 participants is needed to run this program
  • All participants must purchase and register for transportation through Parks & Recreation. A link will be emailed to you once you have registered to purchase lift tickets, rentals, and lessons through Pleasant Mountain.
  • Please note, our staff will not be skiing one on one with the participants. We always utilize the buddy system, and we will always have staff on the mountain and in the lodge for the participants to find us if needed. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please reach out to us.
