Second Community Center Ad Hoc Committee
Established by the Windham Town Council October 2019 - New members interviewed and selected by Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee in December, 2019

The purpose of this committee is to complete the pre-development phase toward achieving a community center for Windham.

Updates: Committee began meeting in January, 2020
* Focus on identifying other potential parcels while still evaluating suitability of Morrell Property
* Held joint meeting on March 12, 2020 with Barry Tibbetts, Chris Howell, members of town council and school board to discuss potential for acquiring middle school 
* Process halted due to COVID19; Meetings resumed in September, 2020

First Community Center Ad Hoc Committee
Established by the Windham Town Council on May 16th, 2017
Work concluded on September 3rd, 2019

The Windham Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee selected an Ad Hoc Committee of members with varied qualifications and interests, to complete the preliminary planning phase of the development of a community center for the town of Windham, and formulate a vision for this center. This document serves as the result of this committee’s findings and recommendations.

The first Community Center Committee submitted its final report to the council on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019 having completed the public input and conceptual design process with Harriman, the design and engineering firm. Links to the materials included in the report are below:
